Description
DENSE AND VARIED COLLECTION – WORLDWIDE, UN, AND US – This is a dense and varied collection featuring worldwide, UN, and US stamps in various conditions, definitive and commemorative, all lovingly preserved by a collector with a great eye for design. The international portion features seven international stock books plus several loose stock pages, mostly used with some multiples, including notable Bulgarian and Spanish material, alongside 2 Russian and Soviet albums (1857-1989) nearly complete with mint, unused, and canceled-to-order stamps, providing incredible portals into bygone histories through design and color.
The US portion includes a complete collection of unused US commemoratives (1986-1988) in 3 binders, 2 US Plate Block Albums (1922-1985) mostly complete in later years, and 2 US Albums with early issues such as #73, some bank notes, Pan-Americans (294-99), Washington-Franklins, flat plate and rotary printings, plus United Nations stamps 1951-84 from all three offices (used and unused) with plenty of open space to enhance the collection. This combination makes the lot equally attractive to collectors looking for exotic internationals and notable US stamps to fill collection gaps and to dealers seeking organized material with breakdown potential across Russian/Soviet, US commemoratives, plate blocks, and UN. Condition is generally Very Fine, mint original gum.
