Description
INTERNATIONAL SELECTION BUILT AROUND SCOTT INTERNATIONAL ALBUM FROM 1940s – There is something special about collecting inside an old stamp album, and this 1947 copyrighted Scott International album would certainly hit the spot! The album pages are in great condition and only the backing would need some reconstruction. Album covers a vast topic – the whole world, so it does feel underpopulated, however it is flanked by half a dozen stock books! Taken together, the lot includes several thousand different with general levels of duplication very well controlled and only in few instances spiking into dozens. The stock books appropriately are primarily populated with German, Turkish, Canadian classics and stamps from around the turn of the 20th century, complementing the period covered by the Scott album! Broad ranging lot that has fair few fault lines along which it could be naturally broken down. Gen. VERY FINE, mint og (We only took sample photos while repacking the lot to show general makeup of the lot)
