This collection is dense and varied! You'll find worldwide, UN, and US stamps in various conditions, definitive and commemorative — all lovingly preserved by a collector with a great eye for design. As I looked through this lot, below are just a few of the treasures I found, but check through the pictures and zoom in, because the images really show off this richly beautiful collection.
- Seven international stock books, plus several loose stock pages, mostly used, and with some multiples. Check out the Bulgarian and Spanish stamps in the images.
- 2 Russian and Soviet albums — 1857-1989 – nearly complete with mint, unused, and canceled-to-order stamps. The design and color of these portals into bygone histories is an incredible thing to behold.
- Complete collection of unused US commemoratives – 1986-1988 in 3 binders
- 2 US Plate Block Albums — 1922-1985 – mostly complete in later years
- 2 US Albums with a few early issues such as #73, some bank notes, Pan-Americans (294-99), Washington-Franklins, flat plate and rotary printings, plus United Nations stamps 1951-84 from all three offices – used and unused – with plenty of open space to enhance the collection
