LIECHTENSTEIN – Solid Collection in Pair of Hingeless DAVO Albums – Despite its minuscule size, LIECHTENSTEIN is well established as one of the pillars of European philately. This is a very nice collection of some six hundred different mostly mint issues tracing Liechtenstein's postal history well into the 1980s, presented in a pair of premium hingeless DAVO albums with slipcases. The albums alone carry a retail value of around $500, making this lot equally attractive for the stamps themselves and for the premium housing, which represents a significant investment on its own.
The collection transitions to all mint complete sets from the late 1940s forward, meaning the third quarter of the 20th century is comprehensively covered and ready to enjoy or build upon.
