Description
This diverse lot brings together over a thousand different mint and used stamps from a wide spectrum of countries, organized across five volumes and weighted toward the first half of the 20th century. The variety of formats and collecting areas represented here makes it a genuinely interesting lot to work through from cover to cover.
Two of the five volumes are primarily allocated to Latin American countries, with Bolivia, Venezuela, El Salvador, and more making up a solid core of classic era material. A vintage album showcasing British classics adds an entirely different flavor to the lot, while a hingeless Marini album comprehensively populated with Freedom from Hunger stamps rounds out the collection with one of philately's most beloved and widely collected topical issues. Condition is generally Very Fine throughout, with mint stamps showing original gum.
