UNITED STATES – Turn of 20th Century Collection in Vintage Dutch Album – Here is a well-rounded collection of American postal stamps presented in a vintage Dutch album, primarily focused on the turn of the 20th century with individual highlights including mint #294-299 (2), used #76, 77, 113, 149, 152, 259, among others. The collection runs into the 1960s with the 20th century portion, while not necessarily complete, still nicely populated, providing solid coverage across multiple decades.
The focus is certainly on the regular section, but the back-of-the-book portion adds value even with rather spotty coverage, making this equally attractive to the collector looking to acquire a well-rounded US foundation in unusual vintage album housing and to the dealer or accumulator seeking organized turn-of-century material with premium singles in presentation-ready pages. The vintage Dutch album setting is genuinely unusual and adds collectible value beyond just the stamps. Condition throughout is generally Very Fine, mint original gum. Note that only the regular section through 1940 and a small back-of-the-book sample have been photographed.
