UNITED STATES – PREMIUM EARLY PERIOD COLLECTION – Very impressive early period collection traces US postal stamps from the very first issue and running right to the turn of the 20th century presented on densely populated album pages! While the early portion of the regular section is primarily used, turn of the century Exposition issues like Columbians and Trans Mississippi Expo sets are mint all the way to $5 and $2! Albeit, while the latter mostly features gum on the back, dollar values on the Columbian page are mostly no gum. The collection is further nicely enhanced by a very solid back-of-the-book portion, which is anchored by a particularly strong officials section! Great resource for serious collectors with huge catalog value! Gen. F-VF or better, most mint og. Some stamps placed out of album order.
