Description
UNITED STATES – LARGE TWO CARTONS/ELEVEN VOLUMES GROUPING – An amusing and expansive grouping of thousands upon thousands of stamps organized in eleven various albums/stock books primarily focused on the 20th century! The selection features albums by various publishers, including Scott, White Ace, and Harris Liberty!
The late 19th century and turn of the 20th century portion are touched upon as well, including expansive run in one of the stock books, but the focus is firmly upon the mid-20th century portion with Kansas/Nebraska overprints and Liberty series running to $5, as well as hundreds of plate number blocks and larger formations. Just looking at the more concentrated portion straightforward postal face value would easily add up to some $400!
Though some degree of overlap in lots of this nature is inevitable, duplication is very low, and thus the lot would be an attractive resource for collectors looking to strengthen their midcentury Americana portfolio! Gen. VERY Fine, mint og, many NH (We only photographed sample selection while repacking the lot to illustrate the scope and organization within)
