SWEDEN – 1855-2000 – ~2,500 Different in Pristine Scott Specialty Album – Here is a very nice SWEDEN mint and used collection of some 2,500 different issues tracing a century and a half from the very dawn of philately right to the turn of the 21st century, presented in a pristine Scott Specialty album. The collection is densely populated from the very first page, including early period highlights like mint #209, used #2, 6-12, 14, 20, 21, 24, 26, 27, 28-36, 38, 40-49, 50-51, 67-73, 204, 205, 206, 207, 208, 209, 219, 222, 223, 225, 226, 227, and more.
The run through the 20th century is highly comprehensive all the way to year 2000, with pages covering the last couple of decades nicely enhanced by inclusion of numerous booklet panes and miniature sheets, adding format variety and catalog value. This very nice and well-rounded collection is equally attractive to the collector looking to acquire a comprehensive Swedish foundation in pristine specialty album housing and to the dealer or accumulator seeking presentation-ready Scandinavian material with strong catalog backing. Condition throughout is generally Very Fine, mint original gum. Note that only the early portion to mid-century and 1990 to end have been photographed, slightly over half of the album.
