MASSIVE INTERNATIONAL LIFETIME COLLECTION IN 4 LARGE CARTONS – Tens of Thousands – Here is one collector's expansive lifetime collection of thousands anchored by five Harris volumes covering the globe from A to Z, sprawling through 4 large cartons combining tens of thousands of mint and used stamps. The lot includes an expansive United Nations section (a couple of overlapping collections starting at the very beginning mint), hundreds of FDCs and envelopes, and even half a dozen USPS year books from the turn of the 21st century, plus a modern mint USPS collection presented in a homemade album with straightforward postal face value easily in the region of $650.
The combination of worldwide Harris albums, UN specialization, FDC material, and usable US postage makes this equally attractive to the collector with broad interests looking to acquire a ready-made lifetime foundation across multiple collecting areas and to the dealer or accumulator seeking diverse inventory with built-in postage value offsetting acquisition cost.
