LIBERIA – Massive National Selection, Roughly 2,000 Issues – Here is one massive LIBERIA selection running from the very earliest issues through the late decades of the 20th century, neatly stacked on Scott numbered stock pages. This selection of roughly two thousand issues with generally very limited duplication comes from an old school worldwide stock of a major former US stamp dealer, and the controlled duplication gives the lot the character of a fragmented national collection ready to be transplanted into a dedicated album rather than typical dealer stock.
The selection is well-rounded with an expansive airmail section and other back-of-the-book subsections, nicely enhanced by the addition of dozens of souvenir and miniature sheets throughout. The combination of provenance, comprehensive coverage, and low duplication makes this lot equally attractive to the collector looking to acquire a ready-made Liberia foundation that deserves to be organized into a nice album and to the dealer or accumulator seeking substantial single-country material with clear resale potential across regular issues, airmails, and popular souvenir sheets. Condition throughout is generally Very Fine, mint original gum, many never hinged.
