INTERNATIONAL GROUPING WITH LOTS OF USA AND POSTAGE! – 6 Large Cartons, $1,600 Face Value – Here is a diverse international lot packed into 6 large cartons but containing a very solid United States core including nearly $1,600 in straightforward USPS postage, primarily made up of complete sheets of 50 (as well as a fair few partial large blocks) from the mid-century period and third quarter of the 20th century. Furthermore, the lot includes hundreds of first day covers mostly from roughly the same period, a pair of Heritage Albums (very sparsely populated), and a nice book packed with modern mint federal duck stamps from recent decades.
Thousands of international issues packed into dozens of envelopes plus a kaleidoscope of philatelic ephemera from golden replicas to souvenir panels to stock pages packed with stamps wrap up the lot. This is an old school lot that will require straightening but it packs a punch with substantial built-in postage value and is equally attractive to collectors with diverse interests and to dealers seeking breakdown potential across postage, FDCs, duck stamps, and international material. Condition throughout is generally Very Fine, mint original gum, many NH. Note that only an overview while repacking has been photographed to illustrate scope and standard.
