DIVERSE INTERNATIONAL SELECTION – THOUSANDS OF STAMPS – Hong Kong, Indian States, Commonwealth, Latin America – Here is a diverse international selection of thousands of stamps covering Hong Kong, Indian States, Commonwealth, and Latin America, presented as a very broad and expansive grouping of a couple thousand different issues with very limited duplication, organized in nine homemade albums and binders. While volume-wise the lot may be dominated by Latin American material (more than half of the books allocated to South American stamps), from a value standpoint the lot is anchored in equal measures by a solid collection of Hong Kong and a grouping of Indian States.
Overall, Commonwealth would certainly be the main collecting theme throughout, with a particularly solid first half of the 20th century representation. The combination of organized albums, controlled duplication, and value concentrated in Hong Kong and Indian States makes this equally attractive to the collector with broad Commonwealth interests looking to strengthen holdings across multiple geographic areas and to the dealer or accumulator seeking organized material across numerous distinct markets (Hong Kong, Indian States, Latin America) with clear breakdown potential.
