Description
INTERNATIONAL SELECTION IN 7 STOCK BOOKS – Close to 4,000 Different – Here is an expansive and diverse international selection of close to 4,000 different mint and used stamps housed neatly in 7 stock books. The selection is deliberately fragmented, covering a kaleidoscope of subjects with numerous short sets and very low duplication levels throughout, making this a genuine worldwide accumulation rather than repetitive bulk stock. The breakdown by stock book provides natural organization: 2 books of EUROPA issues (one mint, one used) including early mint stamps from the middle of the century, another book dominated by Commonwealth with some Europe mixed in, a book of Japanese stamps, Egypt with Middle East, a modern mostly mint Australian book, and a very nice compact Icelandic book combining early period and modern stamps.
This well-rounded structure makes the lot equally attractive to the collector with broad ranging interests looking to strengthen multiple sections of a worldwide portfolio in a single acquisition and to the dealer or accumulator seeking organized material that can be broken down by region, topic, or era for individual resale across numerous distinct markets. The 7-stock-book presentation provides immediate organization and the lot carries substantial value throughout. Condition is generally Very Fine, mint original gum, many never hinged.
