GREAT BRITAIN – PREMIUM HIGH-GRADE CLASSIC COLLECTION – Here is a very impressive early period GREAT BRITAIN collection absolutely packed with individual gems starting from the very dawn of philately, presented inside a Schaubek album. Starting right from the earliest issues, the collector maintained very strict quality standards with numerous high value singles boasting wide even margins on all sides, reflecting selective acquisition focused on exceptional examples rather than space-filling.
Within are a couple of Black Pennies, absolutely beautiful examples of ten and six pence stamps from 1848 and 1854 respectively with full corners, Very Fine examples of #74-75, 90, 98-107, 108-109, a nicely centered £1 example from 1884 (#110), and so much more. This collection carries huge catalog value with a high ratio of mint material and will delight serious collectors of Britannia equally whether seeking a ready-made premium foundation or individual gems for upgrading existing holdings. Condition throughout is generally Very Fine, mint original gum.
