Description
GREAT BRITAIN – HIGH VALUE 19th CENTURY COLLECTION – Full Corners, Plate Varieties – Here is a high-grade collection with a very solidly populated 19th century portion of British philately, featuring beautiful examples of #5, 6, and 7 with full corners, a genuinely exceptional detail for classic GB material. From the Penny Black to 1890s, the selection has very few spots left unfilled, though scattered throughout are a dozen or so specimen examples, most notably the 1883-84 De La Rue set, which is all specimen.
Furthermore, the lot includes a mini-collection within showcasing a plethora of plate number varieties of #29, 33, 34, 43, 58, and others, adding specialist depth beyond just standard catalog listings. This attractive resource is equally appealing to serious collectors seeking comprehensive 19th century GB with plate varieties and full-corner classics and to dealers recognizing breakdown and resale potential across premium singles, specimens, and plate number varieties. Condition throughout is generally Fine to Very Fine or better, mint original gum.
