Description
GERMANY & AREA – MASSIVE COLLECTION IN A PAIR OF MINKUS ALBUMS – Very attractive and expansive collection of a few thousand different issues that covers expanded philatelic Germania from individual states to late 20th century fall of Berlin Wall and reunification, and everything in between, presented in a pair of Minkus albums! The collection is anchored by a densely populated Germany proper volume that features solid states section, but it gets really densely populated with philatelic gems once it flows into the early imperial portion of just unified Germany! The Germany proper section is comprehensively populated into the late stages of the Third Reich era, and even up to Post Horn and Numeral set, while the second half of the 20th century is much spottier. The second volume is allocated to the myriad of subsections that fall under the broad umbrella of German Area, including post WWII occupations, German Offices, colonial possession, DDR, and more! Nice resource for those looking to strengthen their Germania portfolio along a number of different lines. Gen. VERY FINE, mint og (We only photographed sample selection highlighting some key sections within, just a small review of this philatelic behemoth)
