Description
FRANCE – Mint and Used Collection – Here is a rich and varied FRANCE collection spanning a full century of philatelic history, combining 19th century classics with modern mint booklets from the late 20th century and much more in between. Roughly two thousand different mint and used issues are presented across two volumes, a Davo album and a stock book, giving the collection a well-organized, accessible presentation that translates equally well whether kept intact as a personal holding or broken down into individual listings.
The breadth of coverage across such a long philatelic timeline means there is something here for multiple collecting audiences, and the mix of classic and modern material gives both the specialist and the generalist plenty to work with. Condition throughout is generally Very Fine, mint original gum, some never hinged. Note that only a sample selection has been photographed highlighting key sections, and serious bidders are encouraged to factor the full scope of both volumes into their evaluation.
