Description
BELGIUM & COLONIES – Scott Specialty Album Collection – Here is a beautifully preserved Scott Specialty album covering BELGIUM from the very dawn of philately through the 1970s, with album pages in pristine condition throughout. The regular section and back-of-the-book are both represented, providing a solid framework to build upon across multiple collecting areas, and an early 20th century Congo section adds meaningful colonial depth to an already well-rounded holding.
While coverage naturally varies across such a broad span of material, the collection arrives in high grade housing that is ready to receive additional material without any rehousing effort required, making it an attractive option for the collector looking to expand an existing Belgian portfolio as much as for the accumulator seeking a clean, organized foundation to work from. Condition throughout is generally Very Fine, mint original gum. Note that only a sample selection has been photographed running to mid-century in both the regular and back-of-the-book portions, and prospective buyers are encouraged to factor the full scope of the album into their evaluation.
